Tanque Verde Ranch Brunch Wedding

This beautiful late summer brunch wedding from Amber Lea Photography was a change in plans for Amie and Nick. They postponed their original plans due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but “even with setbacks and changes in their plans, they handled each issue with grace and joy knowing they would have forever together.

When the day finally arrived, they celebrated with 15 people – their parents and siblings only – and while it wasn’t the number of guests they had planned for, the day was perfect because they had each other. You can tell how loved these two are because some friends got together and made a video in secret to surprise the couple, each toasting and sending well wishes from all over the world!”

We absolutely love hearing stories of couples who have taken all the unexpected events of this year in stride and have turned them into something beautiful that, while different from what they had originally envisioned, is perfect in its own way.

xoxo,

dd

Tucson Desert Camp Engagement Session

Tucson photographer Nathanael Tenney brings us today’s joyful camp style engagement session. This couple’s happiness shines through every shot and they stylized their session so beautifully. The bride-to-be, Mary, works in the film industry and has an affinity for props and “setting the scene”. She shared that she created their “desert camp theme” to set their photos apart and to give the location a different look than it had for their subsequent wedding in the same spot. Photographer Nathanael tells us that he was absolutely blown away by Mary and Michael’s style and that their commitment to getting the shots was second to none… Just check them out snuggling up under that wool blanket in 100 degree Tucson heat!

xoxo,

dd
